Variprop 3-Blade Propeller

The VARIPROP 3-blade is the original standard propeller for sailing vessels with an output of 6 – 180 kW. It delivers very smooth running, equally good stability especially at sea under power, and very low drag. Just like the VARIPROP 2-blade, the 3-blade has outstanding maneuverability, since in reverse each blade self-adjusts to the optimum pitch.

The VARIPROP 3-blade is the ideal propeller for cruising yachts. In exceptional cases or higher loads and we recommend our Variprop 4-blade.

A smaller diameter fits where others cannot. It has the shortest hub length of any propeller and therefore is able to fit the smallest apertures and still give 100%. Excellent motor sailing power, incredible control and thrust in reverse, no vibration. Independent external pitch adjustments in both forward and reverse allow elimination/reduction of prop walk. It will not spin under sail having near zero drag giving improved sailing speed and steering.
